It all started with Geoff Ross, founder of 42 BELOW, sitting on a plane accross the US in 1996. He was reading an in-flight magazine and saw an ad for an American vodka and thought ‘Hold on, America is all about bourbon and moonshine. Vodka has to come from cold, pure countries.’

10 years later, 42 BELOW has become the world’s most awarded vodka proving Geoff’s hunch that if you were going to choose the perfect invironment to make the perfect vodka you would have to choose New Zealand. Description

42 Below has been crafted to deliver a pure, elegant vodka, with the softness of wheat, the freshness of New Zealand spring water, and a lingering finish.

The vodka is quite viscous and oily, on the nose there are aromas of aniseed and a soft scent of wheat with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the vodka has a bursting touch of creamy wheat initially, then a soft sweetness from the spring water, and a very long, lingering finish with little heat.

Originally a fruit native to Brazil and Argentina, the Feijoa is grown throughout New Zealand and is iconic among all things proud and Kiwi.
